Awareness about ischemic heart disease in University Biotechnology students

Abstract

The basic idea of this study was to establish the awareness of biology student regarding ischemic heart disease. Cardiac ischemia is the disease of decrease blood stream and oxygen toward heart muscle. Ischemic heart infection is the most important reason of cardiovascular disease-related disability and big loss of worldwide population. A questionnaire was prepared to aware the students about the ischemic heart disease.  71% percentage of postgraduate student’s answer was “no” and 29% student’s answer was yes. It is concluded from this study that some students were aware of ischemic heart disease and some were totally not aware about the disease.
